Bio

Hi, I’m Rob. I’m a DIY author, musician, and teacher. I’ve been featured in Razorcake magazine, Dying Scene, Punk Globe, Off Beat, and once, believe it or not, ESPN. Ha.  “God, Forgive These Bastards” is a book and album I wrote about the life of a fictional baseball player named Henry Turner. It was called “the best album of the year, perhaps decade” and a “painful, borderline tragic and beautiful experience”, which was nice of them to say.  The story was adapted into a musical stage show in 2018.  I’ve put on music festivals, written dozens of albums, and broken 14 different vans on various national tours. All without the help of a publicist, booking agent, or promoter, because hey, it’s more fun to do it yourself.

When I’m not writing stories, I teach free GED classes at community colleges, public schools, and prisons.
